well sephiroth is very hard and you dont have do defeat him to finish the game but if you want to defeat him buy potions and other items that can help you

thats what I do but I think the only way is to get reached the limit level to defeat it.

I admit sephiroth is really hard. But he can be beaten. Allow me to enlighten u. When ever he teleports behind u and cuts u into the air press O for aerial recoverly then quickly press X, even if u dont see him just press X and use all of Sora's air combos. And when sephiroth uses heartless angel, aerial jump towards him and start butchering him. Now this is the part i really hate. When sephiroth uses his meteors, just glide. Keep gliding til it stops. If this did not help u then please tell me the problem.

You know Sephiroth isn'y that hard!!i defeated him at level 75..if you don't have a strong character you need to have a lot of elixirs...
