Thanks...dat's by the grace of God and of course all the best wishes from my dear friends like you! :)
Our performance day was on the 12th of Nov...and guess what? We have qualified for the semi-finals of the Schoolwiz!!! Yippee!!! ^_^
Our school has made it to the top 10 amongst all the 80 schools in Guwahati! B-)
So I've been extremely busy wid all the rehearsals!
But that's not the reason for my delay in the reply though...actually I'd been sort of grounded...I still am! LOL! ;) :D
Anyways, tell me about you...what have you been up to? :)

Hey...there's a change...our program has been postponed to 12th Nov.
Oh and, my choir girls love the name! (Archangels - it suits our personalities)

Hey thanks a ton for your help! :))
"Archangels" is an awesome name!!! ^_^
Its superb! I'll tell my choir members bout it...I'm sure they'll like it!
First we are performing on Thursday in front of everyone at school, and then on the 24th we are going to go for recording...yeah its not gonna be live...I find that much safe for a first-timer like me! :)

Anyways, how's ur school life going? You had ur exams recently ryt? How did it go?

We are singing on track music...and the genre is pop...We are singing "Still the one" by Shania Twain, "I'll be there" by Jackson 5, "All out of love" by Air Supply and "Innocence" by Avril.
We thot of names like "head over heels" and "check mate" (as our dress colour combo is black n white), but so far we r clueless! We want something unique!

Hi Amaan! Sorry for the late reply! I just got too much of school work laden on me all of a sudden...so I couldn't make it online at all! ^_^"

Anyways, don't you have a school newsletter or anything? May be u can talk to the principal or a similar authority about it...u know start a weekly or monthly newsletter or an annual mag? Something which is totally "of the students, for the students and by the students"? I think that will be a good way to quench your thirst for some activity! What say? :))

btw, are u still into animes? If yes, then I think I need to be rescued...I'm sort of losing my interest in them...HELP! T_T

But hey, I have a good news to share with u...There's this well-known local channel called "News Live" (u can see it on Dish TV and Tata Sky) and its organizing an inter-school talent hunt aka "School Wiz Contest" all over Assam, starting from the 18th of Oct. And I'm taking part in it as an all-girl-singers band! We've been practicing for it since last September and our performance is due next Sunday, the 24th, LIIIIVVVVVEEEEE!!! Eeeeeeeeek! I'm so excited!! :D ^_^

Do reply soon!

Well of course...I'm a student editor of my school's monthly newsletter. There are at least 10 of us...but its always my friend, Barsha and I (the "heart and soul", according to our Sir) who do most of the designing, editing, reporting and that kinda stuff, you know. Its called the "Black & White"...I find it pretty cool...this 5th of September our newsletter completed two successful years! ^_^
The best part is you can always bunk the most boring classes in the name of the newsletter! ;) But we are quite honest!

Oh yeah, and I do keep my own journal...you know the ones that u get with lock and keys! I love those diaries...it always triggers a large sum of curiosity among my friends! :D I love the entire secrecy thing and the whole mystery behind it! Don't you? i.e. only if u keep a diary! :))

Yep...truly said!
Friends do make all the difference! ^^

Have u ever given it a thought that it is always "the more the merrier" but also "the lesser the closer"? Its pretty practical, you know!

Again, lines like "Farmers dying of Hunger!" and "One feeling thirsty when he/she is surrounded by sea from all sides" is very paradoxical, don't u think?

Well u myt be thinking why am I saying all this to u....well I guess, I'm just in the mood for some deeming today! Anyways, you said you wanna be writer or something like that when u grow up, ryt? Hmmm...I think these are some good "food for your thoughts"! :) ;)

Wow! Even though it got canceled, at least your school was planning to take u to such a distant location. Well, Shillong is just beautiful...so serene and all!
Well, I have seen the Shillong Peak, two museums, the Barapani lake and of course, not to forget all the scenic beauty and wonderful twisting roads with tall pine trees on both sides!
Anyways, u know, since I'm in class 9 now, our school will take us out on an excursion to Kaziranga National Park, sometime in January, I guess. I'm obviously very eager! Do you too have any picnics or field trips lined up?

Sep 28 4:19 AM

Yep! In fact, ryt now I'm in Shillong. Its a hill station and capital of Meghalaya. I'm sure you have heard of this place, ryt?

Hmmm, its pretty sad having to deal with exams right after a time full of festivities and celebrations, I must say! Coz of exams, you can't even enjoy ur holz. ^^"
Anyways, I wish you all the very best! Do well ok! I'm sure you can! :)
Oh yeah, and Happy Angel Week! >O <

Thank you so so so much for wishing me! It made my day really special! I'm so glad to have a friend like you! Amaan you're just great! :)
Well, my exams got over just the day before yesterday...and today I had a small bash wid my friends at my place. We really had a gr8 time even though many of my friends couldn't make it coz of all the puja rush and traffic.
Which reminds me......I must wish you a very happy festive season! Sorry I couldn't wish you on Eid, but still (belated) Eid Mubarak to you! Plus, I hope you have an awesome Dussehra, Navratri, Durga Puja and Diwali (in advance)!
